2008 has been a great year with Team Emde Sports.  Highlights have included helping with the Valley Girl and Wunder Woman Triathlons.  The racing season has been dedicated to trying to prepare for my first attempt at The Furnace Creek 508 Ultra Endurance Race.  With the help of Michael and Marla Emde, and the support of my team mates I hope to finish the race.

The people I’ve met through Emde Sports are incredible, and I hope that the friendships last a lifetime.  Racing a bicycle is my favorite thing to do, I love the competition, the healthy lifestyle and the camaraderie. 

I’ve learned a tremendous amount in this, my fourth year racing competitively.  Crashing three times this year has led to some minor set-backs, but has also strengthened my resolve to keep competing until I can no longer swing my leg over the saddle!
